Starfield won’t be out until next Christmas (so you don’t have to wait, you shouldn’t expect anything but The Elder Scrolls), which isn’t expected until around 2024 at the very earliest. Add in a bit of space trading and starship combat and I think they’re aiming for – they seem to be a real great target.
We still don’t know anything about Starfield, but I think it is a clear guess that it was built for Skyrim and its hard science fiction setting, but probably that is accurate. Since Skyrim is celebrating 10 years later, a lot of people debate whether it is justifying its original status (I believe it does) or what to expect from Bethesda next. The reader is surprised that no-one, including Bethesda, ever talks about Fallout 5 and concludes that it can be made only when the fact is that it will probably never be made.
Is Fallout 76 about Bethesda’s last Fallout game?
